Binary Garden // Raideninst x Turing square
Binary Garden (2017, Interactive Installation) merges algorithms, touchscreen interaction, and local and remote audiences into a dazzling interactive artwork. Audiences can interact with the surfaces in real-time; as one person distorts or resets the pattern, whether through live or smartphone-mediated gesture, every other person — live or remote — simultaneously witnesses the ripple and change. Binary Garden is canvas-agnostic and continuous across all web platforms; it can be run on almost any display, or projected onto any surface.
"Turing Tower" is a large-scale art installation with a "Luban Lock" body and a surface covered with mirror glass. During the day, it serves as a spatial sculpture that reflects the surrounding environment and interacts with pedestrians through mirrors; as night falls, the tower's LED visual system is activated and gradually evolves into a dazzling artificial intelligence digital tower, presenting a brand-new creation created by contemporary media artists based on artificial intelligence technology.
